Eat near Egyptian Museum!
Personally, I'm a tourist who prefers to keep it light during the day and eat a bit heartier in the evening after touring and exploring all day. If I ate a lot for lunch, I'd have a very high risk of heading back to my room for a nap before resuming afternoon visits :)
Do you also tend to eat lighter during the day and indulge more in the evening?
In any case, whether the hunger is great or small, food always appeals to everyone's palate! Read along with me below for what I propose; you'll find options for lunch and dinner, from meat to fish to Piedmontese street food and gourmet pizza all close to the Egyptian Museum of Turin.

For me, it's one of the most historic and characteristic restaurants in the entire city. Located in a very central position, the Cambio restaurant offers a Michelin-starred menu focused on Piedmontese cuisine. Naturally, the quality, refinement, and style put into the dishes come with their price. Watch out for the price!
- Pescaria Torino (Fish). FOR LUNCH/AFTERNOON BREAK AND DINNER

Phone number: (+39) 011 4506586

The 'Pescheria Torino' is a place that I personally appreciate a lot for its practicality and convenience. It can be an ideal spot for those of you who want to take a break, as you can sit comfortably either inside or outside in the outdoor seating area if it's a nice day, but it's also great for those of you who are pressed for time since there's also the option for takeaway. You can enjoy excellent fish dishes in both traditional and street food versions. Highly recommended!
- Arcadia (meat, fish and SUSHI restaurant). FOR LUNCH AND DINNER

I am a loyal customer of this restaurant. Both the outdoor and indoor settings are stunning, and the food is absolutely top-notch. The venue is an old historic building with impressive columns and high ceilings that give a sense of grandeur to the entire place. I recommend trying it because it offers dishes both with meat and fish, and it also has a SUSHI menu for lovers of this cuisine like myself :)
- Crostone.it (Piedmontese street food). FOR LUNCH/AFTERNOON BREAK AND DINNER
Two venues, two locations, DOUBLE THE FLAVOR!

Places where you can enjoy, either seated at a table or on the street ordering take away, the classic Piedmontese street food. Simple yet high-quality food for those who want to keep it a bit lighter.

Have you ever tried pizza with red shrimp on top? With veal in tuna sauce? With pork shoulder and purple cabbage cream? Personally, I never had until the first time I walked into this place, where I was literally amazed. These are sometimes extreme combinations, but I assure you it's worth trying them. Dough options include not only the classic but also a variety of grains. Also unique is the "Pala," a 50cm pizza that can be ordered with multiple flavors, ideal for sharing! One of the best pizzas in Turin. Recommended!
- KOI (Sushi Restaurant). FOR LUNCH AND DINNER
Opening hours: Monday 12.30 - 15.00 and 19.30 - 23.30, Tuesday to Sunday 12.00 - 15.00 and 19.30 - 23.30
Phone number: (+39) 011 543957
Address: Via Conte Secondo Frola 4/B, 10121 Turin
The restaurant KOI is one of the symbols of Japanese cuisine in the city. It's a place where the "all you can eat" option is NOT available, but it can offer you unique and very special fusion dishes. If you are a lover of raw fish, this place could be an excellent choice!
- Bar "Farmacia del Cambio". ALL DAY OPEN
Opening hours: Monday to Sunday 09.00 - 20.30
Phone number: (+39) 011 19211250
Address: Piazza Carignano 2, 10123 Turin
E-mail: farmacia@delcambio.it
The "Farmacia del Cambio" Bar is a very elegant and refined historic bar. In this location, you can taste the unique and distinctive square or spherical brioches. I think it's the only place in the city where you can have this kind of experience! You can also taste the typical gianduiotto and the 1757 cake (created to honor 260 years of history!) I don't know about you, but talking about these things has made my mouth water!! Enjoy your breakfast :)
- Bar "Caffè San Carlo". ALL DAY OPEN
Opening hours: Monday to Sunday 08.30 - 20.30
Phone number: (+39) 011 0267460
Address: Piazza San Carlo 156, 10123 Turin
Caffè San Carlo is also a historic venue that was born around 200 years ago. Located under the arcades of the homonymous Piazza San Carlo, in the past, it was a meeting place for intellectuals, philosophers, and politicians. Now it's a place with strong territorial connections that blends classic Piedmontese tradition with experimentation and originality. Another place I recommend for starting the day with the right sweetness!
